I don’t think the Saucony Jazz are quite squishy enough to be running shoes, but I’m giving them five stars as walkers. I don’t have a car, so I do a LOT of walking around town, and all over campus, and these work out great for that.

My feet are a little bit wider than average, and the Sauconys give me plenty of room. There’s even enough space for me to add a bit of an arch support – my instep is really high, so I do that with most of my shoes, and with the Saucony Jazz (both the Low Pro and the Original), the addition of the support doesn’t mess up the fit of the shoe, the way it does with some others. This makes me very happy!

They’re comfy right out of the box, they wear well, they come in lots of nifty colors, and they’re good to go whether I’m on the sidewalk, the beach, or an easier hiking trail – I wouldn’t substitute them for serious hikers of course, but they’ve got wicked good tread. I’ve got two pair of the Low Pro, and three pair of the Original (slightly thicker sole), and so far I’ve never been disappointed.

They appear surprisingly well built, and draw many compliments.<br/>Lots of comfy fuzzyness on the inside. Keeps your feet nice and warm.<br/>Easy to get into even if your food has a high arch.<br/>I love the tall rubber base - my feet stay dry even in small puddles and somewhat slushy sidewalks.<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>They run small! I'm normally a 10 to a 10 1/2 with a narrow foot and I got the 11M, but they're still on the tight side. Especially around the toes!<br/>The heel could use a little more support. I can still feel a slight pound on my heel if I walk hard on a tile floor, kind of like briskly walking barefoot on hardwood.<br/><br/>Overall, I definitely recommend these if you dig the style. Pros:
Inexpensive! They appear surprisingly well built, and draw many compliments.
Lots of comfy fuzzyness on the inside. Keeps your feet nice and warm.
Easy to get into even if your food has a high arch.

They run small! I’m normally a 10 to a 10 1/2 with a narrow foot and I got the 11M, but they’re still on the tight side. Especially around the toes!

Overall, I definitely recommend these if you dig the style. Can’t beat the price!
